Five All is teaming up with Zac Efron and Paramount Pictures to produce a film loosely based on John LeFevre's book "Straight to Hell." Efron is set to star and EP the project.
LeFevre’s notorious @GSElevator Twitter feed offered a hilarious, shamelessly voyeuristic look into the real world of international finance. Hundreds of thousands followed the account, Goldman Sachs launched an internal investigation, and when the true identity of the man behind it all was revealed, it created a national media sensation. "Straight to Hell" added LeFevre’s own story — an unapologetic and darkly funny account of a career as a globe-conquering, win-at-all-costs investment banker.
John M. Phillips (“Dirty Grandpa,” also starring Efron) is writing the script.
Efron will EP with his Ninjas Runnin’ Wild producing partners Jason Barrett and Michael Simkin and with Five All in the Fifth Entertainment’s Douglas Banker. Ashley Brucks will oversee for Paramount.
